Turn conference talks into short clips
the best minute of each talk, ready to share
A talk or panel recording holds a few moments worth sharing. Paste its link or upload the file and Clip-Short cuts them into vertical clips with captions you can fix.

How it works
- 1
Get the recording
The organiser's upload, or your own recording. Check you may use it.
- 2
Add it and say what to look for
Paste the link or upload the file. A line such as "the advice for founders" focuses the search.
- 3
Fix names and terms
Correct speaker names, product names and technical terms in the transcript, and name each speaker.
- 4
Add the talk's name and export
Use a title card for the talk and the speaker, pick a shape and export.
What helps with talks
The strongest moments
The AI reads the speech and picks moments that stand alone, each with a score and a reason.
Follows the speaker
On a panel the crop follows whoever talks, and two people far apart are stacked.
Names and terms fixed
Fix words in the transcript, name each speaker and give each a caption colour.
A title card
A kicker and a headline over the first seconds, for the talk's name.
Good to know
- The AI reads the speech, not the slides. A vertical crop can cut a slide: use 16:9 or 1:1 for slides that matter.
- Check you have the organiser's and speaker's permission. Clip-Short does not check rights.
- Paid plans give more minutes and remove the watermark. The pricing page shows the price in your own currency.
- Free to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and puts a small watermark on exports. Paid plans have more minutes and no watermark.
Questions about clips from talks and events
What about panels with several speakers?
The AI hears who speaks, the crop follows the person talking, and you can name each speaker and give each a caption colour. Two people too far apart for one crop are stacked.
What happens to the slides?
The AI picks moments from the speech, not from the slides, and a vertical crop can cut a slide. For slides that matter, export 16:9 or 1:1, or fix the framing shot by shot.
Can I add the speaker's name and the talk title?
Yes. A hook title card takes a kicker and a headline, so you can put the talk's name there. You can also add text over the clip.
How long a recording can I use?
A long recording is read in parts, so the clips come from the whole talk. Your plan's minutes count the video's length.
Do I need the organiser's and speaker's permission?
Yes. The recording belongs to the organiser or the speaker, depending on the event. Ask in writing before you post. Clip-Short does not check rights.
Can I share a talk in another language?
Yes. Dub says a clip again in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic, a stock voice per speaker, with captions in the new language.
Is it free?
Yes, to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and adds a small watermark. A paid plan removes the watermark and gives more minutes.
Can I fix the captions?
Yes. Tap a word in the transcript to fix it before you export. You can also download the captions as an SRT, VTT or text file.
What formats can I export?
Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You can also choose 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9.
How long can the video be?
A long video is read in parts, so the clips come from the whole video and not only the start. The longer the video, the longer the analysis takes.
Can I put a clip in another language?
Yes. Dub says the clip again in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic, with a different voice for each speaker, and puts the captions in the new language.
Does it post the clips for me?
No. You post the clips yourself. On a phone the share sheet sends the file to the app, and you can set a reminder email for the time you want to post.
