What Kwai Booster is
Kwai’s help center calls Booster its official content boosting tool. It promotes a creator’s post as an ad, which Kwai says helps shape the account’s influence, increase ad interaction and get better long-term results. You pay for it; it does not pay you.
Each order promotes one public video toward one goal:
- More views for the video.
- More followers for your account.
- More visits to a website.
Kwai’s help page for new creators says the same in other words: when Booster is available to your account and the required review is approved, you select one public video in the Booster Center to create a promotion order. The estimated performance shown is for reference only.
How to boost a video on Kwai
The steps Kwai’s help center gives, in order:
- 1
Open Booster
On your profile page, tap Booster. Kwai’s Portuguese help center calls it Impulsionar, under the bio.
- 2
Choose the account type
Create a Creator Account or a Business Account. Kwai says the type cannot be changed once you choose it.
- 3
Pass the review
Fill in the qualification information and wait for Kwai’s team to review it. Once it is approved, you can buy boost orders.
- 4
Create an order
Top up the balance in your Booster wallet, choose one public video in the Booster Center and pick the goal: views, followers or website visits.
None of the Kwai pages we read lists the payment methods, a minimum top-up or a price. They show in the app when Booster is open to your account.
The account review
Before your first order, Kwai reviews the qualification information you send. What its help center says:
- Kwai’s team reviews the information as soon as possible. After approval, you can buy boost orders.
- If the review is rejected, the reasons are at the top of the qualification page. Fix what they say and send the application again.
- You can change all the information later except three things: the account ID, the registered country and the currency.
So choose the country and the currency with care before you send: Kwai’s pages give no way to change them afterwards.
Which videos can be boosted
Kwai reviews the video too. Its help center says content bought for a boost must meet all of these conditions:
- Public and approved: the video is public and has passed Kwai’s review.
- Within the rules: it follows the Kwai community standards.
- Original: no watermarks from other platforms.
- Legal: no pornography, nothing involving minors, no regulated goods.
- Not an ad: no marketing or advertising behaviour in the video itself.
In practice, a repost with another app’s logo, a clip of someone else’s video or a video that sells a product is refused. Kwai recommends choosing content that meets the conditions before you buy.
When Kwai refunds a boost
Kwai’s help center has two refund pages. Together they say this:
| What happened | What Kwai says |
|---|---|
| The goal was not reached | If the promotion time ends and the goal is not completed, Kwai refunds the excess amount to your account. |
| Wrong video or amount | No refund if you chose the wrong content or the wrong boost amount. |
| You did not like the result | No refund. Kwai says the result depends on the goal and the audience. |
| Your Kwai account was deleted, made private or blocked | The order closes and the amount goes back to your balance within 5 working days. |
| Your ad account was blocked or rejected | The same: the order closes and is refunded within 5 working days. |
| The boosted video was made private or deleted | The same: the order closes and is refunded within 5 working days. |
Kwai says the refunded amount does not include coupons.
If a top-up has not arrived: Kwai says a successful top-up can be late, and a failed one goes back to the original payment account by itself. For help, send the amount, a screenshot of the top-up history in your Booster wallet and a screenshot of the third-party payment record.
Booster and getting paid on Kwai
Booster is a cost, not an income, and it does not help you qualify for Kwai’s pay programs. Kwai’s Ad Revenue Program page says video views added by the Booster are not counted toward its conditions: more than 1,000 views on average, or 10,000 views in total, in the last 30 days.
Kwai publishes no figure for what a boosted view is worth to you, and no promise of results: its pages call every estimate “for reference only”.
Our Kwai monetization guide lists every program and its conditions, from Kwai’s own pages.
Advertising a business on Kwai
Booster promotes a creator’s video from the app. For a company, Kwai’s help center points to Kwai for Business: write to kwai.business@kuaishou.com, or use Contact Us on kwai.com/business. The email should give:
- The company’s name and its commercial licence or certificate number (CNPJ).
- The company’s website and size.
- The users the ads are for, and the industry: affiliates, education and training, e-commerce, consumer products, games, technology, utility software, media or other.
- What you expect from ads in the Kwai app, and your monthly budget for Kwai, in R$.
- The name and title of the person who decides, how you heard about Kwai for Business, and your experience of advertising on other platforms.
The budget is asked in reais and the licence as a CNPJ: the form is written for Brazilian companies. Kwai’s pages give no price list for ads.
Why you do not see Booster
Kwai’s help center says Booster is still in the internal testing stage and not open to all users. If you do not have it, Kwai asks you to be patient and watch for the official notice in the app.
Kwai publishes no list of countries or accounts where Booster is open, and no date for a wider launch.
Before you pay for a boost
- Booster shows on your profile. If it does not, it is not open to your account yet.
- You chose the account type, country and currency with care: they cannot be changed after the review.
- The video is public, approved, original, without other apps’ watermarks and not an ad.
- You picked the right video and amount: Kwai does not refund a wrong choice or a result you did not like.
