and skip the dead air
Upload your recording, or paste the link if the stream is on YouTube. The AI finds the strongest moments, cuts each into a vertical clip with animated captions, and follows the face in frame. Dead air and ums can be cut with one switch.

How it works
- 1
Add the stream
Upload the recording, or paste the YouTube link if the stream was saved there. Long videos are read in parts.
- 2
Say how many clips, and what to look for
Choose how many clips you want. A line like "the funny moments" tells the AI what to look for first.
- 3
Edit, then export
Each clip has a score and the reason it was picked. Trim it, fix a word, cut the dead air, then export it for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
What you get from one stream
The best moments, with a reason
Each clip has a score and a short note on why it was picked, so you can decide in seconds which ones to keep.
Vertical, with the face in frame
Clips are reframed to 9:16 and the crop follows the face on screen, so the person stays in the picture. You can move the crop yourself.
Dead air and ums cut out
One switch shortens the long pauses and cuts filler sounds. Picture, sound and captions are cut together, and any cut can be put back.
Animated captions you can fix
Captions are written from what is said. Click a word in the transcript to fix it, and pick a caption style.
Good to know
- AI Clipping supports a YouTube link or a video file you upload. A recording many hours long is more reliable as an uploaded file, because a very long download can run out of time.
- It reads the picture to keep the speaker in frame. It does not capture game footage or chat as separate parts.
- Use streams you made, or have permission to use. Clip-Short does not check who owns a video.
- Free to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and puts a small watermark on exports. Paid plans have more minutes and no watermark.
Questions about stream clips
Can I make clips from a stream?
Yes. Upload the recording, or paste its YouTube link if the stream was saved there. The AI finds the strongest moments and cuts each into a vertical clip with captions.
Does it work with a Twitch link?
AI Clipping supports YouTube links and uploaded files. For a Twitch stream, download your recording and upload the file, or save the stream to YouTube first. Very long recordings are more reliable as a file.
Can I cut the dead air?
Yes. Switch on cleanup in a clip and the long pauses and filler sounds are cut. Cuts show in the transcript and you can put any of them back.
Can I choose the moments myself?
Yes. Tell the AI what to look for, ask for more clips, or trim a clip by hand. You can also fix the words in the transcript.
What formats can I export?
Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You can also choose 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9 for a clip.
Is it free?
Yes, to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and adds a small watermark. A paid plan removes the watermark and gives more minutes.
