Looking for an alternative to Descript?
Descript is a video and podcast editor that edits through the transcript. If you are comparing tools for short videos, here is what Clip-Short does, in facts you can check before you sign up.
What Clip-Short does
- Cuts long videos into short clips with captions, adds captions to any video, and reframes wide videos to 9:16.
- Exports in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, in Full HD.
- Keeps every scene editable: rewrite the narration, swap or regenerate an image, upload your own, change the voice.
- Narrates in 20 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic, and the whole site speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French and German.
- Turns one written idea into a finished short video: the script, the visuals, a narration and animated captions.
