• Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers).

Essential cookies & local storage

We store essential information in your browser to operate the service securely and preserve your work. This includes: authentication cookies from Clerk for secure login, UI preferences (theme, project layout, sidebar state), unsaved draft edits in the video editor saved to IndexedDB, and your consent decision. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function and do not require separate analytics consent.

Analytics cookies (optional)

With your explicit permission, we use PostHog to understand which features are used and monitor platform performance. PostHog collects pseudonymous event data (page views, feature clicks, session duration) and assigns a random identifier stored in cookies and localStorage. We use this data solely to improve the product—never to build marketing profiles or sell to third parties. If you decline analytics, these scripts will not load.

Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication through Clerk, access controls and monitoring, and regular security updates. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain project data and account information for the duration of your active subscription unless you delete it or request erasure. Deleted projects are permanently removed within 30 days. Analytics data is retained for 12 months before automatic aggregation and anonymization.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including GDPR for EU users and CCPA for California residents), you may have rights to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), export your data in a portable format, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
