Today we learn 1.6 sum, one rule uh at a time.

Cut pauses and filler soundsStudio sound
An example of cleanup in a clip: the struck words are filler sounds and the dashed mark is a pause. Press one to put it back.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add the recording

Paste the YouTube link or upload the video file in AI Clipping. A long class is read in parts, so the whole recording is looked at.

  2. 2

Say how many clips, and what to look for

Choose how many clips you want. A line like "the tips for beginners" tells the AI what to look for first.

  3. 3

    Edit, then export

Each clip has a score and the reason it was picked. Trim it, fix a word in the transcript, cut the pauses, then export it.

What you get from one class

Moments that stand alone, with a reason

Each clip has a score and a short note on why it was picked, so you can judge it in seconds.

Captions you can correct

Terms and names are easy to get wrong. Tap a word in the transcript and type the right one before you export.

Pauses and ums cut out

One switch shortens long pauses and cuts filler sounds, so the clip moves. Any cut can be put back.

Vertical, with the teacher in frame

Clips are reframed to 9:16 and the crop keeps the speaker in the picture.

Good to know

  • AI Clipping needs spoken words. It reads the speech, not slides or the shared screen, so a clip is as good as what is said in it.
  • It works on a YouTube link or a video file you upload.
  • Use recordings you made, or have permission to use, and check that the people in them agree to be clipped. Clip-Short does not check who owns a video.
  • Free to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and puts a small watermark on exports. Paid plans have more minutes and no watermark.

Questions about lesson and webinar clips

Can I make clips from a recorded class or webinar?

Yes. Paste the YouTube link or upload the recording in AI Clipping. It finds the moments that work alone and cuts each into a vertical clip with captions.

Does it read my slides or the shared screen?

No. It reads the speech. A moment where the teacher explains the slide aloud works well; a moment that is only a slide does not.

Can I choose the topic of the clips?

Yes. Write a line such as "the tips for beginners" when you start and the AI looks for those first. You can also trim any clip by hand.

Can I fix a term or a name the captions got wrong?

Yes. Tap the word in the transcript and type the right one. The caption changes and the fix is kept in the exported clip.

Can I add a hook at the start of a clip?

Yes. The AI can write a short hook title from what is said in the clip and show it over the first seconds. You can edit it or write your own.

Can I get a title and a description for each clip?

Yes. The Post dialog writes the words for each platform in the clip's language: a YouTube title, description and tags, and TikTok and Instagram captions. You can edit them.

Is it free?

Yes, to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and adds a small watermark. A paid plan removes the watermark and gives more minutes.

Can I fix the captions?

Yes. Tap a word in the transcript to fix it before you export. You can also download the captions as an SRT, VTT or text file.

What formats can I export?

Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You can also choose 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9.

How long can the video be?

A long video is read in parts, so the clips come from the whole video and not only the start. The longer the video, the longer the analysis takes.

Can I put a clip in another language?

Yes. Dub says the clip again in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic, with a different voice for each speaker, and puts the captions in the new language.

Does it post the clips for me?

No. You post the clips yourself. On a phone the share sheet sends the file to the app, and you can set a reminder email for the time you want to post.

Clip your next class

Paste the link or upload the file. The AI finds the moments.
