How it works

  1. 1

    Add the client's long video

Paste a YouTube link or upload the file. Say how many clips and what to look for.

  2. 2

    Set the brand once

The brand kit keeps the client's logo, its corner, size and opacity, and a caption style, and puts them on your exports.

  3. 3

    Fix and check

Correct names and terms in the transcript, trim each clip, and fix the framing shot by shot.

  4. 4

    Export the batch

Export all or download all in the shapes the client needs. Add Remix or Dub for extra deliverables.

Questions from agencies and freelancers

Can I put my client's logo on every clip?

Yes. The brand kit holds a logo, its corner, size and opacity, and a saved caption style, and it is used on your exports. There is one brand kit per account, so change it when you switch client.

Can I export many clips at once?

Yes. The clip list has Export all and Download all, which run through the clips shown and tell you the minutes first.

Which shapes can I deliver?

9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, 4:5 and 1:1 for feeds, and 16:9 for YouTube. The crop follows the speaker and you can fix the framing shot by shot.

How much footage does a paid plan cover?

Paid plans are sold in bundles of 5 hours of video processing a month, from one bundle up to ten. The free plan gives 60 minutes a month with a small watermark.

Do I need the client's permission?

Yes, and the rights to the video and its music. Clip-Short does not check rights. Get the client's agreement in writing before you post.

What does it not do for agencies?

Everything sits in one account: there are no separate client workspaces, and one brand kit per account. It does not post for you, and it needs spoken words in the video.

Is it free?

Yes, to try. The free plan includes 60 minutes of video processing a month and adds a small watermark. A paid plan removes the watermark and gives more minutes.

Can I fix the captions?

Yes. Tap a word in the transcript to fix it before you export. You can also download the captions as an SRT, VTT or text file.

What formats can I export?

Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. You can also choose 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9.

How long can the video be?

A long video is read in parts, so the clips come from the whole video and not only the start. The longer the video, the longer the analysis takes.

Can I put a clip in another language?

Yes. Dub says the clip again in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic, with a different voice for each speaker, and puts the captions in the new language.

Does it post the clips for me?

No. You post the clips yourself. On a phone the share sheet sends the file to the app, and you can set a reminder email for the time you want to post.
