Text-to-speech (TTS)
Software that reads written text aloud in a generated voice: how most faceless videos get their narration.
Today’s AI voices pause, stress words and change pace much like a person, and many speak several languages. For a faceless channel, choosing one voice and keeping it makes the channel recognizable.
YouTube does not ban AI voices. Its disclosure rules are about realistic altered or synthetic content, such as a real person made to seem to say something they did not. A generated narrator reading your script, not passed off as a real person, is not that.
