What Is AI Narration?
AI narration is a voice-over read by a text-to-speech voice instead of a person: you write the script and an AI voice reads it with pauses and stress.
Today’s AI voices pause at sentence ends, stress the words that matter and change pace much like a narrator, and many speak several languages. Faceless channels use them for stories, explainers and lists, and creators use them to make the same video in more than one language.
YouTube does not ban AI voices. Its disclosure rule is about realistic altered or synthetic content, such as a real person made to seem to say something they did not, or a realistic event that did not happen. A generated narrator reading your own script, not passed off as a real person, is not that.
For a creator, the script matters more than the voice: a narration paced for its language, about 150 words a minute in most languages, sounds natural. Clip-Short’s AI Agent narrates a video from an idea with a choice of voices and languages; Arabic is written in the dialect the idea names or is written in, or in Modern Standard Arabic.
