Short AI alternatives: 6 AI short-video tools compared

The 6 tools, side by side

1. Short AI (short.ai)

Short videos in bulk: faceless story, Reddit, fake-text and dialogue videos from a script, a link or one of its templates, and clips cut from a long video with captions. It also schedules posts to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and more.

A good pick if you want many faceless videos and the posting schedule in one place.

2. Revid (revid.ai)

Made for short-form creators: it turns a prompt, a script, a link, a product page, an audio file or a PDF into an editable video with a script, voiceover, visuals and subtitles.

A good pick if you want to share straight to TikTok, Reels, Shorts and X, which it does in one click.

3. AutoShorts (autoshorts.ai)

Faceless short videos on autopilot: pick a topic or write a prompt, review the script and images, and it creates, schedules and posts a series to the TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts you connect.

A good pick if you want the posting done for you.

4. Fliki (fliki.ai)

Turns a one-line prompt, a script or a blog post into a video with AI voices: it writes the script, picks the visuals and adds voiceover, music and subtitles. It names 2,000+ voices in 80+ languages and dialects.

A good pick when the choice of voice and language matters most.

5. Pexo (pexo.ai)

An AI video agent: you describe the video in a chat, and it develops the script, scenes and shots with you and picks a video model for each step (it names Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 and Veo 3.1). It takes text, links, PDFs, images, video or audio.

A good pick for ads, explainers and music videos planned in conversation.

6. Clip-Short (clip-short.com)

Turns one written idea into a narrated, captioned short video: the script, AI pictures in 25 styles or stock footage, a narrator in 30 languages, music, and maps, timelines and charts drawn over the pictures when the script has places, dates or numbers. Every scene stays editable. No free AI video: 3 Pro videos cost US$5.99, paid once, or Pro is US$19 a month.

A good pick for narrated stories, explainers and documentaries, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and 26 more languages, and for clips from your own long videos.

Each tool in its own words, from its own site, read on November 7, 2026. Prices change often, so we leave them to each site, except our own.
