What Is a Remix on Clip-Short?

A Remix is Clip-Short’s researched commentary video built around one clip: the AI looks up the story behind it and narrates it around the clip’s own sound.

Remix starts from a clip of up to 5 minutes in your own AI Clipping project. The AI reads the clip and writes angles for it, each with a headline and a hook; you pick one or write your own, and choose the narrator. It then looks up who, when and where with web search, keeps the source of each fact, and leaves out a name, date or number it cannot source.

The finished remix opens on the clip’s strongest line, then tells the backstory over other shots from the same long video, with name tags, a headline, graphics and pauses where the narrator says why it matters. Every part can be edited afterwards, by hand or by asking the video’s agent.

A remix uses one AI video: from Pro (US$19 a month per bundle of 10), from a pack of 3 Pro videos (US$5.99 once), or from the Clip pack, which includes 3 remixes. It has no watermark. The free plan does not make remixes.
