What Is a Qualified View on TikTok?

A qualified view is a view TikTok counts toward Creator Rewards payments: one of an eligible video, over one minute long, that TikTok accepts as a real view.

TikTok pays Creator Rewards on qualified views, not on every view a video shows. A view can only qualify on an eligible video: original, over one minute long, posted by an account in the program, and not a Duet, a Stitch, a Photo Mode post or sponsored content. A video also needs at least 1,000 views on the For You feed to earn at all.

TikTok does not publish the full rule for which single views qualify on the pages we read. It is TikTok’s own count, shown in the Creator Rewards dashboard in TikTok Studio, and it is usually lower than the view count on the video. Views TikTok judges artificial do not count, as on every platform.

For a creator, qualified views are the number to plan with, and the same rules that make a video eligible decide whether its views can count at all. TikTok’s pages did not load for us on 29 October 2026; these rules are as of 23 September 2026.

Questions

Are qualified views the same as views?

No. The view count on a video counts every play. Qualified views are the ones TikTok counts for Creator Rewards, on eligible videos only, and the number is usually lower.

Where do I see my qualified views?

In the Creator Rewards dashboard in TikTok Studio, for an account in the program.

Do views on videos under one minute qualify?

No. Only original videos over one minute long are eligible for Creator Rewards.

How much does TikTok pay per qualified view?

TikTok publishes no rate. A calculator can multiply your qualified views by your own RPM from the dashboard, as an estimate only.
